Parallel Domains is a triptych drawn for Pro-Printing class at UH Manoa. This series is primarily a practice the powerful intensity of black and white, while being able to use an accent color. Inspired by shows like The Legend of Korra, Avatar the Last Airbender, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Naruto, I envisioned a power class that uses hand signs, mind worlds, and a physical manifestation.
This class allowed me to use Red River Aurora White Archival Ink Paper. I had to calibrate the Canson Printer to understand the ink levels as well as the color depth of the paper.
